A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Leighton Light is a Safety Manager in the United Mechanical Construction division. Leighton has almost five years experience in his field including becoming safety manager at his last job in just one year. His primary focus for us is program organization, accessible safety training and certification matrix, ensuring readily available safety equipment out in the field, and safety processes that blend with job processes. He’s a member of Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) and the Oklahoma Safety Council (OSC).
Leighton played center/guard for the UCO Bronchos Football Team from 2013-2017. He also enjoys fishing, golfing and growing vegetables. Leighton takes pride in his work at United Mechanical noting: “We work hard, do our jobs right the first time, and take care of our customers.”
